Welcome

Hi, my name is Neta Ariely, welcome to my blog! My friend and I, Ela Savas, are pursuing an independent study in Biomedical Engineering, specifically dealing with prosthetics. During our research, we learned that casual exercise is difficult and generally inaccessible to people who wear prosthetics, specifically those with leg prosthetics. Both forms of exercise, running for example, require a whole other multi-thousand dollar prosthetic, and the people who don’t have that kind of money to spare are left to deal with the consequences of not exercising. Physical Activity is critical to maintain health. By not having exercise readily available, people with prosthetics can suffer from all kinds of chronic health illnesses, like obesity, hypertension, ischemic heart disease, clogged cardiac arteries, muscle atrophy, and more. This presents us with a critical problem that we want to try and correct. Join us on the journey!
